What is it?

Since 1917, SILCA has been the global leader in high-performance pumps for cycling. The Pista Floor Pump embodies that heritage. A high-performance, durable, compact floor pump that easily reaches all tire pressure requirements while being small enough to live in the trunk of a car or hang/stand flat against the wall taking up minimal space.

European pro mechanics prefer because of its flat profile which makes it easy to store; and the pump that cyclists around the world purchase confident that it will be the last floor pump they ever need to buy.

Originally designed in the 1950’s when the Bianchi-Pirelli team requested a pump that could fit under the rear seat of the Fiat team car, the Pista pump quickly became an icon of professional team cars and mechanic workstations at 6-Day track events around the world.  The compact form of the pump, and ability to lay completely flat, allow the pump to take up minimal space in a trunk, duffel bag, or larger tool kit, making it a true icon of the sport amongst the cycling cognoscenti.

In 2017, we took all of the qualities of the original Pista and introduced a re-engineered, limited-edition version of the pump with the iconic Molteni orange barrel to celebrate 100 years in business. These modern orange pumps were initially meant to be a limited-release product to celebrate our heritage, but the positive response and demand for the product has continued.  As we’re now in our second century of making high-performance pumps, we’re pleased to make Pista part of our permanent floor pump line-up and will offer it in a modern red livery moving forward.

Subject to stock availability, orders usually take us 1-3 working days to organise and despatch. Orders will normally be delivered by 24 hours courier service, Monday to Friday and should arrive between 8am and 8pm. Orders placed after 11am on Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday. Tracking is available on despatched orders, if you have provided your email and mobile details with the order.

All courier deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives, the courier will leave a card with details on how to collect or reschedule a delivery. Bikes and finance orders can only be delivered to the billing address. (For small parcels we may use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.)

Please note: Selected brands are not available for shipping and are available for Click and collect only.

Extended Delivery Times

Your delivery may take slightly longer in the following instances:

• The item(s) you have ordered is out of stock
• It is a UK Bank Holiday period
• Bike purchases may take longer as they have to be built, inspected and repackaged before dispatch.
• A destination location outside of mainland UK

We will notify you if there are any delays.

Bike Purchase

All bikes that we ship are checked by a qualified mechanic and then broken down ready for shipping in a bike box. We recycle these boxes from bikes that we get sent to do our best to help the environment, so don’t worry if the box on your door has a different branding to what you expected. Inside the box with your bike, will be guidance notes on how to reassemble the bike. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further assistance.

In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your purchase please feel free to return your goods within 21 days of the purchase date for a full exchange or refund. Any item (excluding food and underwear) can be returned to us for any reason provided it is returned in ‘showroom condition’, with its original packaging, tags and a valid receipt/delivery note.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is returned to us in a safe and secure manner, and in the event of a refund or exchange, in saleable condition (in original packaging and including all warranty, cards, manuals and accessories).

Customers are accountable for return shipping charges.
