Our Expert Witness Services

MTB Expert Witness

As a certified Bond Solon expert witness, we have been offering MTB Expert Witness Services for over 20 years. Over this time we have worked with many of the leading personal injury legal firms. These include DWF, Potter Rees Dolan, Weightmans, and Kennedy’s. One of our most high profile cases was in the Royal Courts of Justice. This case received heavy media coverage, and the verdict led to reverberations in the industry. This case set a legal precedent.

As mountain bike technical advisors to British Cycling we helped create the current leadership & coaching programmes. We were the first British Cycling mountain bike tutors to deliver the scheme in the UK. With a combined 40 years of experience of Leadership, Coaching, Mechanical Servicing, MTB trails, and more recently E-Bikes, we are privileged to offer our professional services in these roles.

With our vast knowledge of the industry and as practicing professionals, we offer current and “real-time” advice. This has proved invaluable in the many cases we have been part of. We are very much aware of the role of the expert and the many reports, joint statements, and site visits that are often required by the court.

Expert Witness Requirements

What Is An Expert Witness?

The Role

The role of an expert witness differs from that of any other witness in a criminal trial. An expert is the only type of witness who can give opinion evidence. The evidence of an expert witness must be independent, and the court requires the highest standards of objectivity and accuracy from expert witnesses.

Who Can Be An Expert Witness?

Experience Required

An Expert Witness can be anyone with knowledge or experience of a particular field or discipline beyond that to be expected of a layperson. The Expert Witness’s duty is to give to the Court or tribunal an impartial opinion on particular aspects of matters within his expertise which are in dispute.
