Shop

Prices
  • The prices on our website include VAT and are accurate at the time of publishing.
  • However, situations may occur where prices are incorrectly quoted as a result of circumstances beyond our control. In these situations, you will be informed of the correct or the revised price once your order has been received by us. If you then wish to not purchase the product at that price, we will cancel that part of the order.
  • In-store all items have a price tag attached which reflects the current retail price for that particular item. Errors and omissions excepted.
Payment
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.
  • Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.
  • You may send your credit card information via phone, post, or using our secure internet site.
  • If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order, and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
Gift Vouchers
  • Cyclewise sterling gift vouchers are available to buy in-store and on the website.
  • They can only be redeemed in our UK stores.
  • We regret that we are not able to redeem any vouchers online and they can only be redeemed through Cyclewise stores.
  • Gift vouchers will expire 12 months after purchase or last activity.
  • Lost vouchers cannot be replaced.
  • Gift Vouchers and Credit Notes are non-refundable.
Order Confirmation
  • We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order.
  • Once all the goods are ready we will send a second email to confirm we have sent your goods.

Backorders
  • Occasionally, the item you’ve ordered may be on backorder from the supplier.
  • If this is the case, you will be contacted by phone or email with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Sale
  • Sales items are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • We cannot guarantee stock availability until the point of despatch. If an item is sold out we will endeavor to contact you within 72 hours.
  • We only charge your account at the point of dispatching the goods to you.
  • Orders placed using Paypal will be debited at the time the order is taken.
VAT Charges
  • UK VAT charges apply to all purchases.
Internet Credit Card Facility
  • We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet.
  • All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption.
  • They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.
  • If you feel in any way unsure about purchasing by credit card online, you also have the option of phoning or emailing us your order.
Specification and Pricing
  • Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy throughout this website.
  • Manufactures, however, reserve the right to change specifications, features, prices, and colours without prior notice.
Purchase Orders
  • Purchase orders may be accepted in lieu of payment at the time of booking at Cyclewise’s sole discretion. Please contact us directly on Tel 017687 78711.
  • Acceptance of purchase orders is subject to Cyclewise’s prior approval for credit terms.
  • Customers must ensure prompt payment of our Proforma invoice to guarantee their place on courses.
  • Purchase orders shall not be accepted from any customer at any time during which the customer’s account is placed on “stop” due to default.
Invoicing and Payment
  • Course fees are payable upon booking unless a valid, authorised Purchase Order is provided and accepted.
  • Pro Forma Invoices will be sent via email to the name and email address provided and must be paid within 21 days of the invoice date or not later than 1 working day prior to the start of the course, whichever date occurs soonest (the “due date”).
  • Payment must be made in pounds Sterling by cheque, credit/debit card, or BACS.
  • If any amount properly due to Cyclewise under or in connection with these terms and conditions remains outstanding beyond the due date Cyclewise may:                                            A – charge interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 8% per annum above the base rate of Lloyds Bank PLC from time to time (which interest will accrue daily until the date of actual payment, be compounded quarterly, and be payable on demand); or                                             B – claim interest and statutory compensation are pursuant to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998).

Bike Hire

Booking
  • To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you book to hire all bikes through our website.
  • Bikes can be hired on the day in store but this is entirely dependant on availability.
  • Bikes can be hired for a period of 3 hours or for all day (10am – 4pm).
  • A compulsory helmet is included with all bikes hired.
  • Gloves, glasses, puncture repair kits, and knee pads are NOT included with the hire.
  • Bikes can be collected between 10am – 11:30am on the day of hire.
  • Photo ID e.g. driving licence or passport is required for security purposes.
  • You must be over 18 years of age to hire a bike.
  • Under 18’s need to be accompanied by an adult.
  • The bicycle hire agreement is secured with your debit/credit card.
  • The hirer is liable if any damage is caused to the bikes and helmets whilst in their care. This damage includes punctures.
  • Please be mindful of the weather conditions and dress accordingly.

Courses & Tuition

Booking
  • For current course costs and dates, please refer to our website.
  • Before booking onto the course, please ensure you have read the course content. This ensures the course will meet your training needs and that you are able to meet pre-requisites, where stated.
  • All candidates must be 18 years or over for our leadership qualifications and courses. For family or private courses, any under 18 years must be accompanied by a paying adult.
  • If a course booking is made by an individual, other than the course participant, it is the responsibility of that individual to ensure the candidate is suitable for the course and has the relevant experience.
  • Upon receipt of your booking and subsequent payment online, you will immediately receive a follow-up email that will require you to complete a Course Participant Form. Once you have completed and returned this form to us we will email you the Joining Instructions for the course.
  • Important note: Cyclewise’s acceptance of your booking brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms and conditions. Any term sought to be imposed by you in any purchase order or correspondence will not form part of the contract.
Course Attendance and Certification
  • Candidates will receive joining instructions via email to the email address provided.
  • It is the responsibility of the individual completing the course booking online to ensure joining instructions are received by the candidate.
  • Instructions will be sent via email to the email address provided at the time of booking unless otherwise specified on the Course Participant Form.
  • If the joining instructions are not received, it is the responsibility of the individual who completed the course booking to contact Cyclewise Training to arrange for them to be reissued.
  • Failure to attend the course will result in the full cost being incurred.
  • Cyclewise will send all correspondence primarily via email to the email address provided at the time of booking. If alternative details are received after the booking form has been submitted, they will supersede the original details and all future correspondence will be sent to the new address.
  • Where applicable, no certificate(s) shall be issued whilst there is an outstanding balance (including interest on overdue balances and statutory compensation) due to Cyclewise.
  • It may be necessary, for reasons beyond the control of Cyclewise, to change the content and timing of the programme, the date, the venue, or the tutor.
Cancellations and Amendments
  • All requests for cancellations and/or transfers must be received in writing via email to support@cyclewise.co.uk.
  • Changes will become effective on the date of written confirmation being received.
  • The appropriate cancellation charge will apply based on the cost of your booking, as shown below.
  • Extenuating circumstances are excluded and will be charged at Cyclewise’s discretion.

  • In the event of an individual named on the booking form cannot attend, we will accept substitution of another suitable delegate on the condition that written notification of the substitution has been received by us prior to the course date.
  • If the individual named on the booking form is unable to attend, and cannot or does not wish to transfer their place to another candidate, a percentage of the fee paid may be accepted as payment towards a place on the same or another course that takes place within 6 months following the originally booked event. The amount of the course fee transferred is displayed below.

  • In the event of there being insufficient numbers booked onto a course Cyclewise reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course.
  • In the event of cancellation of a course by Cyclewise, we will endeavour to inform all participants two weeks before the course is due to take place, although please be aware that this is not always possible. All course fees paid will be reimbursed in full, or the payment will be transferred in full to another Cyclewise course. Cyclewise shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation etc.
  • If a cancellation is due to Covid-19, Cyclewise will offer you a place on another course. (There will be no cancellation fee if proof is provided)
Course Provisions
  • Accommodation, food, and travel are the responsibility of the candidate.
  • Your bicycle and equipment are your own responsibility. We accept no responsibility for any damage/loss or theft of bicycles or other equipment, or injury to the candidate.
Extenuating Circumstances
  • If you are unable to attend any of the courses due to extenuating circumstances you must inform Cyclewise in writing.
  • If you were unable to attend due to illness you must provide evidence in the form of a doctor’s note.
Force Majeure
  • Cyclewise shall not be liable to refund of fees or for any other penalty should courses be cancelled due to war, fire, strike lock-out, industrial action, tempest, accident, civil disturbance, or any other cause whatsoever beyond their control.

General Terms & Conditions

Entire Agreement
  • These terms and conditions, together with the current Cyclewise website prices, course details, and Cyclewise contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the course and associated materials and services to you by Cyclewise.
  • These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a Director of Cyclewise.
  • In particular, no terms and conditions incorporated within your purchase order and nothing said by any person on behalf of Cyclewise should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods or services offered for sale by Cyclewise. Cyclewise shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
Safety Statement
  • All outdoor sports activities are potentially hazardous and we recommend that training on how to use products we sell is carried out by a qualified trainer.
Statutory Rights
  • These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
