Cube Attain SLX: Performance meets comfort

We built the semi-aero aluminium chassis of the Cube Attain SLX with both comfort and performance in mind. A teardrop profile down tube helps the frame slice through the air and integrated cable routing reduces clutter, while Smooth Welding gives tube joints a premium, almost organic appearance. The tapered steerer and thru axles front and rear ensure pinpoint precision accuracy and efficient power transfer. Slender seatstays and a full carbon fork help reduce road shock and vibration for significantly improved rider comfort, and there’s room for tyres up to 32mm. And, with a neatly integrated seatpost clamp and mounting points under the top tube, we like to think we’ve thought of everything… so you can just ride.

The elegant, semi-aero lines of the Cube Attain SLX aluminium frame and full carbon fork are no accident; they’re there to give it exactly the right blend of pace and comfort to help you ride at your best, for as long as you want. The fact that it looks so awesome is a bonus…

You can ride faster if you can stop faster, too. It’s the reason that, for the Attain SLX, we chose Shimano’s proven 105 hydraulic disc brakes, and matched them with the fast acceleration and superb grip of Continental’s 30mm Grand Prix tyres – so you can brake later and stay in full control. Combined with the slick reliability of Shimano’s iconic 105 2×12 gears, the pace of a semi-aero frame and the comfort of a full carbon fork, it makes for a bike that’s as suited to a fast club run as it is to a longer weekend ride.

Components:

– Our Integrated Seatpost Clamp is all part of our quest to sweat the details, so that you can reap the rewards. Its minimalist design suits the frame’s pared-back aesthetic. And, of course, that’s important – because why wouldn’t you want your bike to look great? But it also saves a few grammes too. And that matters just as much..

– Smooth Welding isn’t easy, but worthwhile things usually aren’t. It has two advantages. First, and most obviously, it looks great: one tube seems to almost flow into the other. Second, and at least as importantly, it helps to minimise load peaks on welded areas for better frame strength and durability.

– Cables for your gears and brakes are essential, but you don’t necessarily want to see them all the time. Our semi internal cable routing takes gear and brake cables through the down tube for a cleaner appearance, smoother shifts and reduced maintenance. So your CUBE bike looks good and continues to function as it should, and you just concentrate on enjoying the ride.

– CUBE’s Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.

– How do you carry the essentials – a spare tube, perhaps, with tyre levers and a CO2 inflator – when you’re out on a ride for fun or when you’re training? With its neat mounting points tucked under the top tube, the Attain has got you covered.

Subject to stock availability, orders usually take us 1-3 working days to organise and despatch. Orders will normally be delivered by 24 hours courier service, Monday to Friday and should arrive between 8am and 8pm. Orders placed after 11am on Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday. Tracking is available on despatched orders, if you have provided your email and mobile details with the order.

All courier deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives, the courier will leave a card with details on how to collect or reschedule a delivery. Bikes and finance orders can only be delivered to the billing address. (For small parcels we may use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.)

• It is a UK Bank Holiday period
• Bike purchases may take longer as they have to be built, inspected and repackaged before dispatch.

Bike Purchase

All bikes that we ship are checked by a qualified mechanic and then broken down ready for shipping in a bike box. We recycle these boxes from bikes that we get sent to do our best to help the environment, so don’t worry if the box on your door has a different branding to what you expected. Inside the box with your bike, will be guidance notes on how to reassemble the bike. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further assistance.

In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your purchase please feel free to return your goods within 21 days of the purchase date for a full exchange or refund. Any item (excluding food and underwear) can be returned to us for any reason provided it is returned in ‘showroom condition’, with its original packaging, tags and a valid receipt/delivery note.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the item is returned to us in a safe and secure manner, and in the event of a refund or exchange, in saleable condition (in original packaging and including all warranty, cards, manuals and accessories).
