Accounts Administrator
Job Details
Part time, 24 hours per week, Flexible Hours/Days.
Cyclewise is a well-established family business and is now looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator, ideally with experience of using a bookkeeping accounts package. This is a highly varied role where you will report to the Finance Manager and your typical duties will be to input and process invoices, reconcile statements, weekly cash banking, managing sales ledger tasks and get involved in any general admin duties as required. You will be joining a small and friendly team.
Main duties will include:
- Managing purchase ledger tasks such as inputting supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements
- Managing sales ledger tasks such as daily invoicing and account queries
- Ensuring that all members if staff are adhering to the correct cash up procedure
- Preparation of weekly banking and reconciliations from both cycle shops
- Processing cheques
- Petty cash management
- Managing direct debit payments
- Redeeming and reconciling cycle to work scheme vouchers and Retail Finance agreements
- Assisting on business-to-business sales bookings on cycle hire
- Ensuring all documentation is complete for business expenses
- Ensuring accurate records are maintained on staff personnel eg. qualifications, holidays, vehicle registrations.
- General Administration tasks eg. office supplies
- Other ad hoc tasks specified by the Finance Manager
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally using a bookkeeping accounts package (eg. Xero accounting software)
- Able to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines, demonstrating a “can do” attitude
- Able to use initiative and work unsupervised
- A team player, working alongside others with integrity, positivity and respect
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to busy and varied workload, working with energy and pace to get the job done
- You will have good IT skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office core elements (Excel, Word)
