Name:- Sean Rosser
Role:- Cyclewise Whinlatter Manager
Australian born but now a fully fledged pomme, Sean brings a wealth of knowlege from the biking industry. He has 5 years working with Biketreks and more recently 2 years working with Evans as workshop manager. When not on the trail he can be found on his road bike competing in events like Fred Whitton or the famous Paris- Robaiux. As a qualified level 3 Cytech mechanic his mechanical knowledge is unsurpassed and combined with his recent managerial experience makes him the perfect man for Cyclewise Whinlatter.
Ben runs his own outdoor company The Adventure Element and is a top class coach in many outdoor disciplines. He is working towards his SMBLA tutorship with Cyclewise to deliver TCL & MBL courses. To say we are excited about working with Ben and all he brings to us is a huge understatement. His coaching is amongst the best we've seen and can't wait to see where the future takes us. Name:- Corin Burdon
Role:- I.T Guru, Web Designer, part time guide and bikeability tutor
Corin runs his own very successful web design business (Keswick Web Design) and is also responsible for all of Cyclewise's I.T. support, there's nothing he doesn't know about technology. When he's not too busy in the Matrix he does the odd spot of guiding and coaching for Cyclewise and is well known for his speed uphill and super long distance manuals.
James started racing XC when he was 13 and now at 21 just hasn't stopped. During this time he has been a member of the British Cycling Talent Team for 3 yrs before progressing onto the Olympic Development Program. Since leaving the Olympic programme, James has a ridden all over the world in such places as Australia, France, Spain, Switzerland, Italy and Hawaii. Over the past few years he has guided XC in the Spainish Sierra Nevada and also guided DH in the French Alps. He is often found in MBUK for some of the many articles he has written.His riding style is smooth and fluid and as a top mtb athlete / coach is definitely one to watch for the future. H
Dan is the man!!! With a BA (hons) Degree in Outdoor Leadership he has already in his time with us demonstrated his superb calm manner and excellent coaching skills. He is qualified to level 2 Cytech and is a passionate rider with a smooth riding style and we are pleased to have him as part of the team.
Scott has been a keen cyclist for the past 12yrs. He has completed 4 c2c rides and several long endurance rides. These consist of Lands End to John O'Groats in 100 hours in teams of 2, Bike France - riding from Saintes Maries de la Mer to Calais, Bike New Zealand - riding from Cape Reinga to Slope Point & Bike Corsica - riding from Maccinaggio to Bonifacio. Scott recently graduated with a BA(hons) in Outdoor Studies and has for the past 2 years been specializing in the mountain bike industry working with Cyclewise. He is a talented rider with a coaching background to match.
With a BSc (hons) in outdoor studies and 8 years living in the Lakes, Irish born Nick is Mr Outdoors. He has worked in many of the Lakeland Outdoor Centres such as Brathay Hall and more recently YMCA Lakeside where he developed a reputation for deliverying high quality enthusiastic coaching sessions. He has specialized for the last 2 years in the biking industry and is continuing to enhance his reputation as one of Cyclewise's top guides / coaches.
Name:- Chris Evans
Role:-TCL qualified, Bikeability instructor.
No not that Chris!!. Our Chris helps deliver the Bikeability programme for Cyclewise. A qualified teacher who lives and breathes the outdoors, he is becoming more & more of a bike geek and is keen to pass on his wealth of experience to the cyclists of tommorrow. He has lots of patience and enthusiasm which helps him deliver superb Bikeability training.
Name:- Matt Smith
Role:-TCL qualified, Level 2 Cytech Mechanic
Matt is sponsored by Yeti bikes and is a top four cross rider. He is currently competing at the top level and it's great to have the "Blonde Bombshell" working with us. Neil is Mr. Adventure race. Having competed and won at many international races, Neil knows what it takes to operate at the highest level. His energy levels combined with his massive enthusiasm make any course he runs fantastic fun alongside some top shelf coaching. Neil writes for many outdoor magazines and gets to gear test for them too Lucky man..loadsa free kit!!). He is our main man for our very successful MTB Adventure Race course. Ex Giant DH racer, Dave has been there & done it with the likes of Stevie Peat and the rest of the Pro's. One of our long time friends, Giles is now spending more and more time guiding and doing photo shoots for Altura than he spends with us his mates. Giles has over 20 years of MTB experience and regularly competes for team Cyclewise. His local knowledge is awesome and he always knows the right trail to be on. A most trustworthy friend, we are stoked about having him on board. You will often find him loitering in the Cyclewise Shop along with his sidekick Jill and there beautiful laal lad Hamish.

The hardest working member of staff, Joe who has joined the team & helps keep the hire and demo fleet looking clean and tidy. If you need top tips on keeping your pride & joy clean then Joe's ya man. Currently studying for his Outdoor Degree at University of Cumbria it's great to have him on board.
Name:- Dave Blyth
MBL qualified, Bikeability Instructor
Dave started mountainbiking many moons ago, as a ‘no-wind alternative’ to windsurfing. In the 90s, he competed nationally in downhill racing and, while he wasn’t quite up to the standards of Stevie Peat, he certainly kept the crowds entertained! Having hung up his (well-worn) body armour and race number, Dave moved from the South Coast to the Lakes in summer 2009 and now prefers playing on the trails at Whinlatter, or exploring the neverending singletrack round his new home in Staveley.

The newest member to the Cyclewise Team, Pete has joined us fresh from 3 years in the Carribean (poor guy!!) where using his artistic skills he was a professional glass blower.However with a lack of great biking he has returned home to the promised land and is now helping to mould the young cyclists of tomorrow.
